method of completing them is generally the same. All of the material is either
entered in:
Check boxes, radio buttons and push buttons need to be clicked on to
select the appropriate answer, unless the correct answer is already checked, in which case
you can skip to the next item.
Text boxes need to be filled in. If you have large amounts of data
to go in a fill in text box such as a resume, you can cut and paste it from another
application. Details are below.
When the last box is filled in, scroll up and down to see that all the
information is correct
Then go to the bottom and click the submit button..only once!!!!
Each time you click on the submit button creates another copy!
After you press submit you should either use the back button on your
browser or access another page using the Navigation bar like the one at the top or bottom
of this page.
- You should receive a confirmation within 2-10 working days of the submission of your
information. If not please contact us.
Pasting from a text file or another application on your PC
- First you need to create or assemble the required materials while you are offline.
- Next you need to get your materials such as resume and work samples in electronic form.
If you have the materials on computer already skip to step 3, otherwise either type in the
material in a word processor such as Word Pad, MS Word, or Word Perfect, etc. and for
safety save them as a rtf file.
- If you prefer you may fax or mail your materials to us and we will type them in for a
modest fee. If we type the materials we will also complete the process. Go to step 7.
- Once you have the necessary materials entered on the computer get on the internet, go to
our web site, go to the form, and start filling it in.
- When you come to a part where it asks you to paste your resume, etc. in, start your Word
Processor and load the necessary file. (In Windows 95 you click the start button on the
task bar, etc.). Note: Do not close your browser, just switch tasks (see help in
windows 95 regarding switching tasks for directions). Once the application is
started it should appear on your task bar at the bottom of your screen and clicking on it
will switch you to it!
- Select the text in the document (Usually Control A or use the mouse), and then use the
copy command (Control C).
- Now switch back to your browser, put the cursor in the appropriate box and execute the
paste command (usually control V). You should see the material flow into the appropriate
box.
- Repeat steps 5-7 as necessary for additional paste ins.
