Tutorial 6, Publishing a Web SiteTutorial Overview In the first session, students will use a template to create a new Web page that contains a search component. They will also add a form component to a Web page and add form fields to it. The second session shows students how to validate form fields to verify data entered by a user. Students will add a check box form field and push buttons to a form and change their default properties. Students will then specify and configure a form handler to process the form and test the form on a client. They will then open an Office 2000 document from a Web site and create a hyperlink to it. Finally, they will view the HTML code for a Web page that contains a form. In the third session students will publish a disk-based Web to a server, process forms using a server, and examine form results stored on a server. They will create a hit counter, include a banner ad, move files using drag and drop, use the Find and Replace commands, and recalculate and verify hyperlinks. Finally, students will learn about using permission to restrict access in a Web site. Tutorial Outline
