Course Description
Throughout this course you will learn all of the technical skills necessary to become an A+ certified technician. These skills will be learned through a series of hands-on lab exercises and review questions designed to teach and improve your PC configuration and troubleshooting skills which are necessary to function as a PC support or helpdesk technician. Course Requirements
For this syllabus, the student should have a basic knowledge of windows and should have completed PC Repair I and II, or have permission of the department to take this class due to work or other related experience. Grading
will be a combination of POP quizzes during class, and Multiple Choice Exams. Since quizzes are given during class (some without notice),
attendance of all classes is important. Unless
you give advance notice of missing a class you may not be able to make up those
grades. Points
toward final grade:
Mid-Term 200 points, Quizzes and Assignments 100 points; Final Exam 400
points. Students caught cheating will flunk the exam. Repeat offenders
will flunk the course. (Total

Grade Equivalents: >= 90 =A; 80-89=B; 70-79=C; 60-69=D; <=59=F I
